Hide and Seek

By Jack Ketchum

Hide and Seek is a book about games. Reckless, dangerous games. Games you might even want to play yourself if you're with the right people. But shouldn't. Not ever. In a small Maine town, a group of thrill-seeking college kids finds a game of hide and seek in an abandoned house turning into a reality of stark terror.

I just don't know. I wanted to like this, and thought there was pretty good tension throughout and then the ending ruined it all for me. The ending was cheesy and sappy in a way that felt out of character from the rest of the novel.

I read this 4 weeks ago, and have mostly forgotten it. Liked the beginning, had promise, kept the tension up but the ending was not my cup of tea.
