The cherished favorite featuring everyone's favorite red-headed orphan, now in a deluxe hardcover edition with beautiful cover illustrations by Anna Bond, the artist behind world-renowned stationery brand Rifle Paper Co.
Nostalgic, but reading this as an adult has opened my eyes to the authors' choice of words. Having a POC female character hands described as "paws" has taken away the innocents out for me.
I didn't catch that as a young adolescent.
It didn't transport me away like it used to.

A classic and very heart warming. LM Montgomery’s writing was on another level.

This was cute but definitely would have been more relevant and formative for me if I had read it at a younger age. Still a sweet and pleasant read, though!

This was a really beautiful and wholesome story that explored the balance between being true to yourself and conformity in a complex way
